The Resident Imam of United Muslim Masjid
Imam Hanif Fouse is the Resident Imam of United Muslim Masjid in Philadelphia. Born in Compton, California, he is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach, and holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom. Imam Hanif has extensive experience as an educator, lecturer, translator, and instructor of Islamic studies and Arabic. He has taught in both the United States and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing years of knowledge, practical teaching experience, and community leadership to his work. He is also connected to Arabic education through QARI’s Accessible Arabic program, helping students build the literacy skills needed to better understand religious texts. Through his khutbahs, classes, translations, and community service, Imam Hanif continues to serve as a source of guidance and Islamic education for the Muslim community in Philadelphia and beyond.
